Join the Parent Leadership Network

If you are a parent and interested in talking with others about leadership development and opportunities, join the Parent Leadership Network.

It is an online community for parents and professionals to dialogue about meaningful Parent Leadership and Shared Leadership. Membership is free of charge.  It’s easy to join by completing the online registration form at www.parentleadershipnetwork.org

If you are a parent in a Parents Anonymous® Group, we strongly encourage you to join the Parent Leadership Network and recruit at least one person from your Parents Anonymous® Group to join so he or she can share information with other members of the group.

Ask about our Outreach Flyer that you can post and give out to encourage others to join.   There are many ways to reach out to potential members such as:

  • If you work with a Parents Anonymous® Group, give out the attached flyer and encourage everyone to join.
  • Recruit those you work with in your job as well as parents or others interested in this topic.
  • Talk to parents and teachers in the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) or similar group.
  • Talk to your neighbors, friends and family.
  • Talk with teachers and others at the local schools or in the district offices and ask them to send out a flyer to the parents and teachers.
  • Post a flyer in pediatrician’s offices.
  • Post a flyer in child care centers, Head Start and other early childhood settings.
  • Put information in the bulletin for your church, temple or synagogue.
  • Post a flyer at community centers, YMCAs, YWCAs, family resource centers and other places where it is likely to be seen.

The Parent Leadership Network will be an even stronger resource as more parents and staff join and we have more opportunities to learn from each other.
